Sebastian Conran

"An internationally recognised designer, Sebastian Conran majored in Sciences at school, then studied Industrial Design Engineering at Central St. Martins, when he also worked with the Clash designing clothing, record sleeves and posters.

He started his professional career at Wolff Olins designing branding for the likes of Shell and Pilkington Glass, before moving on to lead hard-goods merchandise design at Mothercare. His career has covered many fields of industry including the design of the last interior for Concorde.

In 1986 he founded Sebastian Conran Associates design studio, which he continues to lead. Their designs have received many international awards for design & innovation and have been granted dozens of design patents.

He is an energetic advocate of design. He lectures, judges design awards, and has written several books, articles and papers on the subject."
